Cooking class

We did a private cooking class with Junko and loved it! Learned a lot and made some delicious Japanese dishes. Very high quality ingredients & great value for money! Junko is an amazing host & super kind. Would definitely recommend doing a class with her!

On Tuesday this week I attended a Twilight Dine and Cook...so much fun, learning how to cook amazing food improve my pasta making and then enjoy the food with such a great bunch of people. The events Nila and John create attract great people who want to have fun, love food, want to learn how to make it and enjoy great conversation over the meal after!About my 4th event and as usual, Nila was super organised and everything was ready for us and together we produced an amazing meal!I highly recommend any class or event they are doing. Do yourself a favour ...go or book a private class for yourself and your friends!

Singularly the best curry you can buy in Perth!

I had the privilege of going on a truffle tour through Nilla’s Italian Kitchen. I was fortunate enough to bring my 6 year old and husband and all 3 of us had a wonderful experience. Being taken out to a truffle farm in Denmark and being involved with watching the dogs sniff and find the truffles and then each one of us got to dig up a truffle was something I had never done before. Not many people get the opportunity to do this. My little one absolutely loved it too. We were able to buy the truffles we dug up, so you couldn’t get much fresher than that. That was Part 1!Part 2 was just as amazing when taken back to Nilla’s Italian Kitchen in Albany and in the comfort of her home she fed us like a good ole Nonna would! With 5-6 courses (I lost count) and all courses had truffle in it, we rolled out of the loooong lunch and didn’t need dinner. We shared lunch with strangers but came out as friends and all got along famously with the same mindset of simply loving great food, wine, company and experiences. Highly recommended to do and I would absolutely do this again, even with my little boy in tow as well. Thank you for a wonderful day and memories.

Chef Valentina is just incredible. She and her sous-chef Dario catered a 70th Birthday for us. Everything was perfect from start to finish -- the communication, the reliability, the friendly vibe, the stress-free evening, the timing of courses ... and of course the FOOD. Incredible menu, world class. What a way to celebrate without lifting a finger, other than to raise cutlery or perhaps a glass of merlot. Five stars (only because Google won't allow 6).

Nilla’s Italian Kitchen is a wonderful cooking experience!! A mix of learning to cook, meeting new people/building relationships, and then dining together to enjoy what you’ve made! Food and fellowship! Nilla’s love for food exudes from her and it follows into her teaching! I loved every bit of my time at Nilla’s Italian Kitchen! And I can’t wait for the opportunity to go again!! Thanks Nilla (and John) for having us in your home and for sharing your love for food! xx

Delicious 3 course meal for my son’s birthday. Valentina and her team were excellent and would recommend for any family or special events!!

Great location. We stayed at the blue wren. Lovely chalet very secluded, lovely view with lots of kangaroos coming to visit. Well stocked kitchen and extremely clean. Would highly recommend!
