I had a great time talking about different ways of Smoking, and BBQ'ing different meats. It was a fabulous experience listening to the skills of the trainer.

Hot Things BBQ School
Definitely recommend spending an afternoon at the Hot Things BBQ School. Staff are super knowledgeable about authentic Texan BBQ with interesting stories, cold beer and really amazing food. Can't wait to try some of our new recipes and techniques. The Smoked queso, Brians salsa and the brisket were absolute highlights. Plus the breakfast taco... I just can't choose really. It was all too good.

Had the best time at the bbq class. Learnt so much and had so much delicious food. It’s even inspired my daughter, who has never used a bbq, to slow cook a lamb leg today! So good. Can not recommend this class highly enough!!!!

Amazing BBQ Class. Great friendly staff, very educational even tho I am just a beginner on my BBQ journey and you also get served amazing food and beverages. Highly recommend it to anyone that is into BBQ.

Great experience with generous food samples and refreshments available on the day. Friendly and knowledgeable staff, can’t wait to crank up the pellet smoker and practice what I have learnt ( or remembered !!) Techniques explained including the importance of temperature and resting of the meat. Was very excited to hear of Brian’s experience with BBQ, with his heritage in Texas USA.Recipes with a section to take notes provided. Goodie bag provided with an assortment of useful items to take home.Highly recommended if you want to learn about great BBQ, other than just having a sausage sizzle.

Audrey and I had an enjoyable and educational afternoon with Brian (and Peter). He's an entertaining and knowledgeable presenter and taught us how to cook a great deal of different meats and salmon slowly and with the right techniques, seasonings and marinades to get the optimum results. I know that Audrey in particular picked up many useful hints as the cuts and portions of meats were designed to feed multiple people. We took the low and slow class.
