Nilla's Italian kitchen

On Tuesday this week I attended a Twilight Dine and Cook...so much fun, learning how to cook amazing food improve my pasta making and then enjoy the food with such a great bunch of people. The events Nila and John create attract great people who want to have fun, love food, want to learn how to make it and enjoy great conversation over the meal after!About my 4th event and as usual, Nila was super organised and everything was ready for us and together we produced an amazing meal!I highly recommend any class or event they are doing. Do yourself a favour ...go or book a private class for yourself and your friends!

I had the privilege of going on a truffle tour through Nilla’s Italian Kitchen. I was fortunate enough to bring my 6 year old and husband and all 3 of us had a wonderful experience. Being taken out to a truffle farm in Denmark and being involved with watching the dogs sniff and find the truffles and then each one of us got to dig up a truffle was something I had never done before. Not many people get the opportunity to do this. My little one absolutely loved it too. We were able to buy the truffles we dug up, so you couldn’t get much fresher than that. That was Part 1!Part 2 was just as amazing when taken back to Nilla’s Italian Kitchen in Albany and in the comfort of her home she fed us like a good ole Nonna would! With 5-6 courses (I lost count) and all courses had truffle in it, we rolled out of the loooong lunch and didn’t need dinner. We shared lunch with strangers but came out as friends and all got along famously with the same mindset of simply loving great food, wine, company and experiences. Highly recommended to do and I would absolutely do this again, even with my little boy in tow as well. Thank you for a wonderful day and memories.

Nilla’s Italian Kitchen is a wonderful cooking experience!! A mix of learning to cook, meeting new people/building relationships, and then dining together to enjoy what you’ve made! Food and fellowship! Nilla’s love for food exudes from her and it follows into her teaching! I loved every bit of my time at Nilla’s Italian Kitchen! And I can’t wait for the opportunity to go again!! Thanks Nilla (and John) for having us in your home and for sharing your love for food! xx

A FABULOSO FEASTWow we had such a good time at the Italian Feast, and what a venue. We filled our tummies with some homemade treats and met some really fun people as well. Nilla and John and The Team made us feel really welcome and special and this old fashioned hospitality is much needed in today's world. A really really special day.

Our team signed up for a cooking class for a work team building/social event, and we weren't too sure what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised at how organised Nilla and John were for the whole day considering there were 18 of us! We all fit beautifully into her kitchen and verandah with easy to follow recipes and pre-measured ingredients. We then were abel to sit around one big table together to enjoy our creations and BYO beverages. Such a wonderful experience to share with our team, and I can't wait to attend another class with my partner and friends!

We thoroughly enjoyed Nilla's Italian Feast - it was memorable on every level - the amazing food made with love, the stunning location, and the great company! Sensational truffle day last Saturday. I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed it. It was an authentic experience and I highly recommend it to anyone who loves great food and brilliant company. Thank you Nila, John and Alan for a terrific day out.

Nilla and John provided a warm and welcoming environment and worked hard to ensure a great event. The food was exceptional, and it was great to see the team bond preparing a feast for all to share. The feedback from the team has been positive across the board with some saying it is the best team building they have ever done. Thank you, Nilla and John, we will be back!!

Truffles, feast and great company.This was a true experience, truffle hunting with an informative host, and the most gorgeous truffle dogs leading the way. Finished with coffee and truffle shortbread & truffle cream. You have to try to believe it. Then onto Nilla’s Kitchen where we greeted with Italian aromas, beautiful surrounds and Nilla’s beaming smile. We munched baked delicacies and watched the pasta making process. Lunch on a big table all together with dish after dish of sumptuous food, each dish containing truffles. Conversation flowed, food delicious and hosts were generous. It brought back fond memories of Italian households from my childhood in Osborne Park.
